Southwest Miracles Host Fundraiser

KSCB News - February 27, 2011 3:07 pm

Southwest Miracles, a non-profit organization providing services and equipment to those with a medical need, hosted their second annual "Spring Swing Fling" Saturday night at the Seward County AG Building. A crowd of well over 400 people bought tickets and enjoyed a wonderful evening which started off a Silent Auction, followed by a wonderful BBQ meal catered by Billy’s. At 8:00pm, a 50/50 drawing was held with Jennifer Gilmore winning her share of the prize, $292.00, which she promptly donated back to Southwest Miracles. A live auction of a donated Toby Keith guitar brought $500.00 with Renita Johnson having the high bid. The crowd was then entertained and danced the night away to the sounds of the Jay Hollis Band from Wichita Falls Texas. All in all, organizers of the event were extremely pleased with the evening, and without going into details, said it was a huge success. Southwest Miracles wanted to say thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, and came out to "Spring Swing Fling" 2011.
