Heavy Snow Falling In Parts Of Kansas

This latest storm system will bring mostly light to moderate snow across the state and most of Central Kansas is under a winter weather advisory, while Northeast Kansas is under a winter storm warning, where heavier snow is expected.

Snow. with some heavier bands, was reported in North Central and northeast Kansas at 11:00 a.m.

Here is a breakdown of regional snow accumulation forecasts.
North Central Kansas (including Salina)- 2 to 5 inches.
Northwest- Trace to 2 inches
Southwest- Trace to 2 inches (less along Colorado/Oklahoma border)
South Central Kansas (including Wichita)- 2 to 4 inches
