Hoops for the Holidays

Liberal High School hosted the annual Student Council Charity Basketball Tournament in the “Big House” Tuesday afternoon. LHS students raised over one thousand dollars for local charities. STUCO President Roslyn Rin presented a check of about 500 dollars to Liberal Police Chief Al Sill for the Shop with a Cop program. The other approximately 500 dollars goes to an anonymous LHS faculty member. The seniors defeated the sophomores before the juniors beat the freshmen. The juniors defeated the seniors before the faculty beat the student all star team.
