Liberal Police Warn Of Scam

The Liberal Police Department has been alerted to a check cashing scam. This scam pertains to B&B Customer Evaluation Inc issuing Bank of American checks that are counterfeit and fraudulent. If you receive one of these checks, be sure to shred it. If an individual attempts to cash one of these checks at your business or place of employment, do not accept it. You will be at a loss for the amount of money if you do accept the check.

Most scams, like this one, appear to be legitimate by first appearance. Individuals and businesses are reminded that if you receive business or profit information that is too good to be true, then it is. Always make every reasonable effort to validate check cashing and credit card usage by obtaining current tracking information from the customer. Do not allow yourself or your business to be victimized.
