Bodies Found In Texhoma

KSCB News - November 1, 2010 12:00 am

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation

says the bodies of a woman and female child have been found in

separate places in the Panhandle town of Texhoma.

OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown stated that

Texhoma authorities found the woman dead near railroad tracks

Saturday night after they received a report of a train hitting

something.

Brown says the child’s body was found in a hotel room into which

the woman had earlier checked in. Brown says the woman is from

Kansas but the identities of the woman and child are not being

released, pending notification of next of kin.

Brown says both bodies have been sent to the state Medical

Examiner’s office in Oklahoma City for autopsies.
