US-54 westbound lanes are set to be milled and overlaid with new asphalt from north of Goodwell to approximately 7 miles north, near the casino in Texas County .
The contractor, J&R Constructors, plan to begin work on the outside lane September 28th, before moving to the inside lane. This work is expected to take approximately 3 weeks. Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and be attentive to workers and traffic control in the area.
