Seward Batters Busters

For the second consecutive match, the 18th ranked Seward volleyball team made quick work of an overmatched opponent in the Green House. Seward beat winless Garden City (25-13, 25-18, 25-15). Sheina Fernandes led Seward with 11 kills while Stacie Carver added eight and Rolla’s Jade Greene had five. Madison Winkelman had 24 digs and Maddy Taylor had 16 assists. The Saints are 9-2 and 3-0 in the Jayhawk West. They travel to Great Bend to face Barton (6-4, 0-2) Wednesday at 6:30.
