The Liberal Bee Jays run ruled the Dodge City A’s 13-2 Saturday night at Brent Gould Field.  The Bee Jays brought the barrels of their bats to DC pitching scoring 13 runs in six innings in the run rule win.

Both teams scored in the first.  Liberal stayed in attack mode with two in the second, four in the fourth, five in the fifth, and one in the sixth.

Liberal out-hit the A’s 9-4.  Dodge had three errors while the Bee Jays did not commit an error.

Kaden Isola went 2-3 with a home run, five RBI’s and three runs.  Ben Finnegan was 2-4 with two doubles.  William Bologna was 2-3 with three runs.  Braden Whipple got it done on the mound going 5 and 2/3 innings with six strikeouts and two walks.   He allowed two runs.  Stephen Brown pitched a scoreless inning with two K’s.

Dodge City is 11-17-2 overall and 9-12 in the Rocky Mountain.  Liberal is 17-8-1 overall and 14-6 in the Rocky Mountain.  Liberal hosts Hays Monday night at 7pm for a non league game.  State Farm Aaron Knudsen is the buyout sponsor.  The game airs on 1270 and 92.3 FM with pre-game at 6:45.
