Seward Blanks Frank Phillips

Seward swept Frank Phillips 8-0 in five innings in game one and 8-0 in six innings in game two Wednesday at Lady Saints Field in Liberal. Marissa Coats hit an inside the park homer in game one for her fourth homer of the season and Katelyn Glenn homered in game two for her second homer of the year. Courtney Auger (10-4) pitched Seward to the game one win and Kara Russell (8-4) won game two. The 20-11 Saints host Butler (18-5, 2-0) Thursday at 2 pm on Lady Saints Field.
