Glen graduated from Moscow High School in Moscow, Kansas. He attended Fort Hays State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology with a minor in Mathematics.

On December 21, 1958, Glen married the love of his life, Mary Yvonne Swinney, in Coldwater, Kansas. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

A man of deep Christian faith, Glen faithfully served as an Elder at Friendship Christian Church in Sulphur Springs, Texas, for more than 30 years. He also taught a Sunday school class until the age of 85, sharing God’s Word and encouraging generations of believers through his steadfast faith and gentle spirit.

For more than 40 years, Glen also brought joy to countless children and families by portraying Santa Claus throughout the community. His warm smile, kind heart, and genuine love for children created treasured Christmas memories that will live on for generations. He never sought recognition for the many ways he served others, finding his greatest fulfillment in quietly making a difference in the lives of those around him.

Glen devoted his professional life to Phillips 66, where he served as a Safety Engineer until his retirement. He approached his work with the same integrity, dedication, and quiet leadership that defined every aspect of his life.

Of all Glen’s accomplishments, his greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his daughter, Melonie Findley and husband Dennis of Sulphur Springs, Texas; his son, Gregory Hall and wife Ginger of Rockwall, Texas; his daughter, Kristie Hoffman of Wylie, Texas; his brother, Roger Hall of Dodge City, Kansas; and his sister-in-law, Lynda Prine of Hugoton, Kansas.

He was a proud grandfather to Adam Hall; Justin Findley and wife Jordan; Kara Findley; Oran Hall and wife Cortney; Shawn Hall and fiancée Michaela; TJ Hoffman; Heather Bass and husband Kyle Bass; Mikayla Hoffman and fiancé Carson Graham; and Keely Hoffman. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Braxton Hall, Fallon Findley, Jameson Findley, and Rex Hall, and eagerly anticipated the birth of his newest great-granddaughter, Kami.

Glen was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Yvonne Hall, who passed away on December 7, 2009; his cherished granddaughter, Karissa Hoffman; his brothers, George Hall and Tony Hall; and his sister, Marilyn Harris.

A graveside service will be officiated by his nephew, James Hall, Saturday, July 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, Kansas.

Glen’s greatest legacy is found in the faith he lived, the family he loved, and the countless lives he quietly touched. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering faith, quiet strength, integrity, and servant’s heart. Whether serving his church, faithfully caring for his family, welcoming children as Santa Claus, or offering a kind word to a friend, Glen lived a life that reflected Christ’s love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
