Attorney General Six Seeks Public’s Assistance

KSCB News - August 27, 2010 12:00 am

Kansas Attorney General Steve Six is asking

anyone who saw, called or texted 14-year-old Alicia DeBolt on

Saturday evening to come forward.

The girl’s burned body was found Tuesday near an asphalt plant

near Great Bend. She had been missing since Saturday night.

Six announced Thursday that the body had been positively

identified as Alicia’s. The girl would have started her freshman

year in high school this week.

Investigators say she was burned so badly she had to be

identified through dental records.
