The Liberal Chamber of Commerce Academic Banquet was Wednesday night at the Seward County Activity Center. The community proved to be supportive of LHS students with scholarship money for the class of 2026. After scholarship awards were announced, LHS vice-principal Brandi Fowler announced the valedictorian and salutatorian. Justice Mendoza was named valedictorian while Gavin Campfield was named salutatorian. Mya Lopez was third in the class. Tanner Denoyer was 4th and Alan Olvera was 5th in the class. Graduation is May 9.
