Liberal High School hosted the National Honor Society Induction Wednesday night in front of a nearly packed Maskus Auditorium at LHS. There were 118 students inducted into NHS. There were 17 seniors, 26 juniors, and 75 sophomores. There was a recognition of the Kansas State Scholar Candidates and Valedictorian/Salutatorian candidates. They are Klaire Anderson, Gavin Campfield, Tanner Denoyer, Maya Lopez, Justice Mendoza, Alan Olvera, Diego Pavia, Layla Piedra, Ethan Reeves, and Leini Tian.   Kyle Colvin is the NHS president while Klaire Anderson is the vice president, Nathalie Ortega is secretary, Jhovana Cruz Malpica is treasurer, and Jessica Diazdeleon and Manuel Chavez are executive council members. The NHS advisers are Caitlin Morgan, Theresa Carrillo, and Lexi Avila.
