2022 LHS Graduation Information

On Saturday, May 14th, Liberal High School will recognize the largest class to ever graduate from LHS with a commencement ceremony at Redskin Field. The ceremony honoring the 2022 graduates will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the gates opening at 8:30 a.m. to the public.

Public parking will be available on the East and West side of Redskin Field and public seating will be available in both the home and visitor stands.

The ceremony will be streamed live on the LHS YouTube channel for those who are unable to attend, as well as in the James Maskus Auditorium for those who would like to watch the ceremony indoors. For those wanting to watch the ceremony indoors please use door 15 on the south side of the LHS main campus.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Liberal High School big gym which may be accessed via Door 15 of the main campus. Because seating in the gym is limited, each graduate will be given four tickets each after graduation practice on Friday that must be used at the entrance into the big gym.

A decision regarding any changes to location or times will be made by 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and will be communicated to parents and community via the school messaging system as well as local and social media outlets. If there is a delay, graduation will start no later than 3:00 p.m. All efforts within our control will be made to conduct the ceremony outside at Redskin Field.

Tickets will not be required if the ceremony takes place at Redskin Field as planned. Other family members and guests who do not have tickets may either watch on the screen in the James Maskus Auditorium or from home via the LHS YouTube channel.
