2 Vehicle Accident, No injuries reported

(LPD) On Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at approximately 6:00 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of 15^th Street and Western Avenue for a reported injury accident. Responding officers found two vehicles were involved.

Investigating officers found that a 2005 Nissan Sentra, driven by a 15 year old female, was traveling south on Western Avenue. A 2013 GMC Sierra, driven by a 26 year old female, turned left in front of the Sentra. The vehicles collided in the intersection.

Seward County EMS and Liberal Fire Department responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

The driver of the Sentra was issued a citation for driving in violation of license restrictions. The driver of the Sierra was issued a citation for failure to yield while turning left.
