2 Injured In Dodge City Shooting

Two Dodge City men were injured during a shooting early Sunday.

Officers from the Dodge City Police Department and Ford County Sheriff’s Department responded to 2002 E. McArtor, Lot No. 6 after reports of a shooting at about 1am.

Upon their arrival they found Jose Lopez, a 38-year-old Dodge City resident suffering from gunshot wounds. Lopez was taken to Western Plains Regional Hospital for treatment by Ford County Fire & EMS.

While officers were at Western Plains Hospital a second gunshot victim arrived by private vehicle. His name is unavailable at this time.
