USD 480 Board Of Education to meet Monday

The USD 480 Board of Education will have a regularly scheduled meeting Monday night at 7:30 at the Education Service Center. Action items on the agenda for the meeting include stage risers for Liberal High School, work comp insurance, the 2009-10 Heartspring contract, laptop carts for LHS, the Avaya phone system, amending the board policy on the IHA grading system which includes how class ranking is determined, fire alarm system upgrades, certified transfers, employment, and resignations, and classified employment, resignations, and transfers. This will be the next to the last meeting for the board of education for the 2008-09 school period. The board will re-organize on Monday, July 6 to begin the 2009-10 term.
