Texas County Extends Burn Ban

KSCB News - June 8, 2011 8:19 am

The Texas County Board of County Commissioners on Monday extended the burn ban another 30 days due to extreme drought conditions.
The terms of the burn ban remain the same. It’s against the law to set fire to any forest, grass, range, crop or other wild lands, or to build a campfire or binfire. Residents may not burn trash or other materials that might cause any sort of wildfire.
