Seward County Commission Meets, Approves Overhead Door For Event Center

The Seward County Commission met on Monday at 5:30pm with Commissioner Jack Jacob absent.

Among the items on the agenda, the Commissioners approved the purchase of a new overhead door for the Seward County Event Center. Southwest Glass and Door was the winning bidder in the amount $8,725.00.

The Commission also approved Fiber Circuits for the Road and Bridge Department and JCAPS. Also approved for JCAPS was staff bonuses with the funds to come from the 2016 Carryover Funds from the State.

In added agenda items, Seward County Commission approved radios for the Rural Fire Department in the amount of $4998.27 and approved B&B Electric to move a light pole and repair it at the Fairgrounds. Cost will be $1000.00.
