Sen. Love Invites “Dorothy’s” To The Capitol

Senator Garrett Love has invited twelve “Dorothy Gale’s” to serve as a “Page” at the State Capitol on Monday, March 12th, 2012.
The Kansas legislative Page program is generally designed for students in middle school through high school. Pages must be at least 12 years of age. Pages will deliver messages, run errands and complete a variety of tasks to provide assistance for legislators.
This event will provide great exposure for our community in addition to providing an experience of a lifetime for these young ladies. Imagine seeing Liberals’ very own Dorothy Gale working in the halls of the Kansas legislature, what a great image to project for our community.
This will be a unique opportunity for Dorothy to represent Liberal as our junior ambassadors.
