Semi Hits Deer, in Non-Injury Accident

On December 5th at approx. 9:20am , Edner Celestin from Irvington NJ, was traveling east on Hwy 54 at mile post 17, when a deer ran in front of his 2019 Freightliner semi he was driving. The semi was owned by CR England out of Salt Lake City UT.  Edner hit the deer causing front end damage to the semi.   Edner was not injured.

The Sheriffs Office would like to remind everyone to be mindful of your surroundings while driving, as this is still  season.
