Saints Baseball Opens Season with Split in Colorado

KSCB News - February 13, 2010 12:00 am

The Seward County Saints baseball season was scheduled to begin Saturday at Brent Gould Field, but the field was to wet so the Saints went to Northeastern Colorado where the two split a doubleheader.

The Saints won game one 8-2, but dropped the second 11-9. Seward is scheduled to play at home Sunday but that has been called off due to the field still being to wet according to head coach Galen McSpadden.

Seward will next play on Tuesday either at home or on the road depending on the weather. Stay tuned to kscbnews.net for further information on when they will play next.
