Adrian Nuñez, age 31, of Liberal, Kansas, died Saturday, November 2, 2019, in Liberal. He was born January 11, 1988, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Erasmo and Sylvia (Baeza) Nuñez.
Adrian grew up in Ulysses and graduated from Goddard High School. He then attended the Energy Training Center at High Plains Technology Center in Woodward, Oklahoma, and became a Certified Wind Technician. He was currently employed at JB Well Service as an operator on a pulling rig. Adrian loved spending time with his daughter, Alexi, his nieces and other family members. Adrian will be remembered for his respect and politeness to everyone he met, his smile, love of music, and dancing.
Adrian is survived by his daughter, Alexi Naveah of Liberal; parents, Erasmo and Sylvia Nuñez of Ulysses; brothers, Eduardo Nuñez and wife Diana, and Erasmo Nuñez all of Ulysses; sister, Veronica Vazquez and husband Arturo of Liberal; nieces Emily and Ely Nuñez of Ulysses, and Abigail Vasquez of Liberal.
Vigil and Rosary service will be Friday, November 8, 2019, at 7:00 PM and Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 2:00 PM both at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses with Reverend Aneesh Parappanttu, MSFS officiating. Friends may call Friday, November 8, 2019, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery.
