06/25/2009

The Liberal Bulldogs won in convincing fashion Wednesday with a 14-4 victory over Guymon. Chris Flowers pitched for all six innings of the game to earn the win. The Bulldogs won the game in a run rule in the sixth inning as they scored five runs in the inning to take a ten run lead thus making it a run rule.

Flowers also went 3-4 from the plate. Brandon Granger was 3-5. Everyone in Liberal's lineup had a hit. They finished with 13 total hits.

The Bulldogs improve to 15-4 overall and 8-0 in the league. They will play at Hooker tomorrow in a makeup game. The Bulldogs will have a 5-0 lead heading to the bottom of the first inning.
