Saints Maul McCook

Seward head coach Bryan Zollinger didn't sleep Friday night.  His team lost the the Colorado Kings 102-90.  Zollinger was emotional after Saturday night's win over McCook (6-4) 109-71.  One night after a loss which Zollinger said was the most embarrassing in his five seasons as head coach, the Saints played dominant basketball Saturday night.

Seward led 53-42 at halftime and outscored the Indians 56-29 in the second half.  Keep in mind, this is a McCook team which led Garden City most of the second half on Friday before losing to the Busters by five.

The Saints shot 65 percent in the win.  Kaheem Ranson scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds.  Deverell Biggs had 20.  Daveon Boardingham added 17 and Brice Jenkins added 10.

The Saints are 8-2 and host Quakerdale Prep and Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. on B107.5 and kscbnews.net.
