Pancake Day Activities Begin Saturday

Pancake Day activities begin tomorrow at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Liberal. The Merchandise Sale at Knights of Columbus Hall at 323 North Kansas runs from 9 am to 1 pm. The Eating/Flipping Contest starts at 10 am. The Recipe/Cooking Contest starts at 11:30 am. High Tea at the Bakers Arts Center begins tomorrow at 4 pm. Sunday will be the Miss Liberal Scholarship Pageant at 2 pm in Maskis Auditorium. The contestants are Kassandra Cole, Jeanette Contreras, Megan Devore, Kimberly Fuller, Jessica Gokey, Kara Lewis, Elizabeth Rohloff, Hannah Rotolo, Molly Wichman, Sheniece Morton, and Nastashia Caffey vie for Miss Liberal. Guitarist Phil Keaggy will perform at 7:30 Sunday night in Maskis Auditorium for the Christian Artist Showcase.
