Chase Eatmon is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Chase Eatmon

Liberal senior jumper Chase Eatmon is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Eatmon competes in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump for the LHS track and field team which has won all three meets at Winfield, Liberal, and Great Bend.  Eatmon has won the high jump twice and placed second once this season.  His best jump is 6'3".  Eatom has won the long jump once with two second place finishes.  His best long jump is 21'4".  He has won the triple jump twice and placed second once.  His best triple jump is 43'4".  He is doing this after breaking his ankle in the offseason.  He wasn't even cleared to participate until the first meet.  Eatmon scored at state in the triple jump and high jump.  Eatmon is also involved in video production at LHS, provides Avid promotional videos, is manager for basketball, and directed cameras for the LHS football games this season.  The Redskins compete at Haysville on Friday.
