Maize South Mows Over Liberal
03/05/2014

 The Maize South Mavericks pounded the Liberal Redskins Wednesday night 64-32 in Maize.  The #8 Mavericks began the game on a 27-3 run and ended the game on a 20-0 run.  The Redskins did not score in the fourth quarter.  It was 40-21 at the half.  Liberal cut that lead to 42-30 before a technical foul.  Liberal made the score 44-32 with 1:40 to play.  LHS did not score again in the game.

Maize South enjoyed a huge advantage at the free throw line going 34-42 at the line while LHS was 3-10.  Liberal finishes 6-15 while the Mavericks are 16-5.  It's Liberal's fourth consecutive losing season.  Nolan Larkin scored eight in the loss.
