Dodge City Girls Overcomes Beseker's Hot Hand

Dodge City carried a four game losing streak into the Big House in Liberal Saturday night.  But the Lady Demons walked out with a 54-43 win over Liberal.  Megan Beseker's three point shooting brought Liberal back but they did not finish the game strongly.  LHS had 23 turnovers in the loss.

DCHS led 16-9 after one quarter and 30-17 at halftime.  Dodge led 38-27 after three quarters and led 38-24 shortly before the end of the third.  That's when the Lady Skins went on a 13-0 run led by Beseker's three's to make it 38-37 with a little over four minutes to play.  But the Lady Demons went on a 9-0 run and won by 11. 

Beseker scored 12 with four three pointers and Jada Mickens added 10. 

Liberal is 5-9 and 1-3 in the WAC and Dodge City is 5-8 and 2-2.  Liberal plays at Guymon Tuesday night at 6:30 with Redskin Pre-game at 6:15 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
