Liberal Stacks Up Against State's Best

Liberal plays Great Bend in Conference play tonight.

It was a mini state meet. Liberal competed Thursday and Friday at Cessna Stadium in the Shocker Invitational. Team scores were not kept, but these Redskins brought back medals.

Boys

100- Kowan Russell 3rd (11.52)

4x800- 1st Morgan Riggs, Valentin Borunda, Noel Grajeda, and Alejandro Avila (8:56.48)

3200- Morgan Riggs 2nd (10:34)

400- Michael Cummins 4th (53.38)

Elite Division

110 Hurdles- Nate Davis 2nd (15.11) Martavious King 3rd (15.36)

300 Hurdles- Nate Davis 1st (40.35)

4x100- 5th Slader McVey, Isaac Gallegos, Levandrick Martin, and Kowan Russell (46.45)

4x400- 5th Nate Davis, Slader McVey, Noel Grajeda, and Michael Cummins (3:36.9)

Girls

Discus- Caitlin Bauer 1st (98'3")

Shot Put- Caitlin Bauer 2nd (32'10")

Elite Division

Javelin- MaKayla McPhail 1st (115'5")

Liberal goes to Great Bend Tuesday.
