Garden Girls Halt Liberal's Win Streak

Garden City's girls built a 23-7 lead after a quarter and 38-14 at the half in route to a 58-40 win over Liberal Tuesday night at the Garden.  The Lady Buffaloes snap Liberal's three game winning streak.  Liberal actually outscored Garden 26-20 in the second half.  Jai Chapman scored 21 in the loss.  Garden is 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the WAC while the Lady Skins fall to 3-5 overall and 1-1 in the WAC.  The Lady Buffs have won six in a row in the series.  Liberal plays McCook January 23  at 3 in the Colby Orange and Black Classic.  The game will air on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  The Lady Skins will be featured during Thursday night's Rowdy Crowd Show at 5:30 on 1270 and kscbnews.net and live from Billy's.
