Several minutes later, two separate storm chasers reported a tornado in the same location about 10 miles west of Slapout. The tornado was rain wrapped and short lived over open country.

Flooding resulted from this storm. Water was flowing over Highway 70 15 miles south of Perryton and over Highway 15 eight miles east of Perryton. About 6-8 inches of water was reported on a Beaver County road six miles east of Beaver at 6:23 p.m. Water covered county roads east of Booker by as much as four feet at 1:37 a.m. Monday morning.
