Hugoton Truck Driver Crashes Semi in Morton County
05/11/2010

A Hugoton truck driver was flown to Wichita with injuries after crashing the semi he was driving in Morton County. Fifty nine year old Dennis Stoddard was southbound on Morton County Road 24 about eight miles south of Rolla. The vehicle then for an unknown reason left the road on a curve and rolled. The power unit of the semi came to rest just north of State Line Road landing on its wheels. Stoddard was taken to Morton County Hospital before he was flown to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. The rollover occurred at about 12:55 a.m. Tuesday.
