Four Oklahoma State students including one from Hugoton are recipients of the prestigious Udall Foundation Scholarships. Brooke Hill of Hugoton is one of the record four OSU students to receive the scholarship. The Udall Scholarship provides five thousand dollars for educational expenses to outstanding sophomores and juniors who are studying the environment and related fields, or are American Indian or Alaska natives in fields related to health care or tribal public policy. Eighty students in the United State received the scholarships this year. The awards were created in 1992 are are named for former U.S. Congressman from Arizona Morris Udall.
