Hays Blanks Liberal

LHS soccer coaches Noel Torrey and Luis Aguilar talk to the LHS team during a timeout Thursday at Redskin Field. Hays won the game 3-0.

Hays scored one goal in an indirect kick and another on a corner kick in route to a 3-0 win over Liberal at Redskin Field Thursday afternoon. Hays scored the indirect kick into the north goal with 17:24 remaining in the first half. After a Hays High goal was called off due to offsides eight minutes into the second half, Hays scored with 24:35 remaining in the game. Hays scored with 3:27 remaining on a corner kick. Liberal falls to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the WAC. Liberal hosts Garden City Tuesday at about 5:30 PM on Redskin Field.
