Heat Humbles Bee Jays

 Liberal committed seven errors in a 12-2 loss to the Wellington Heat Saturday night at Brent Gould Field.  

The Heat scored one in the first, three in the second, three in the fifth, three in the sixth, and two in the ninth.  The BJ's were especially bad in the fifth inning when they had four errorls.  The Bee Jays don't have a true shortstop at this point in the session.  

Oklahoma City's Austin Murphy was 2-3 while Nicholls State's Seth Stevens was 2-3.  Arizona Western's Jose Rosales Rodarte pitched two scoreless innings.

Liberal is 10-8 and 6-8 in the Jayhawk while Wellington is 11-8 and 6-8 in the Jayhawk.  Liberal hosts the Heat Sunday night at 7 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  Golden Plains Credit Union is the buyout sponsor.
