Wiedenfeld Wins Player of the Week
04/23/2013

By far the most dominating pitcher in the Jayhawk West
Conference this season, finally Seward County righthander Tyler
Wiedenfeld will have some hardware to show for it as Tuesday he was
announced by league officials as the Jayhawk West Pitcher of the Week.
Wiedenfeld was 1-0 with a 1.13 ERA this week in two appearances.
Saturday Wiedenfeld pitched the Saints to his seventh straight series
opening win, blanking the Colby Trojans in a two hit shutout to get the
series going.  Seward's ace was spectacular, hurling all 7 innings and
allowing just 2 hits, both singles while striking out 7.  He is now 5-0
in his last 5 starts with a 1.10 ERA.
