After mustering two hits in a 3-1 game one loss, Seward came back with a 12 hit attack in game two and an 8-3 win over visiting Garden City.

In game one, Garden City scored single runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh.  They won despite five errors.

In game two, Seward scored three in the second, four in the third, and one in the fourth in route to the 8-3 win.  Becky Allen was 3-4 with two runs.  Ashley Kirkes was 2-4 with two runs and an RBI.  Felisha Vogelaar was 2-3 with a double.  Brittany Hopkins scattered seven hits but didn't walk anyone in the win.
