Liberal won their girls soccer opener 2-1 in overtime over Guymon Tuesday at Redskin Field.   Jasmine Chacon scored two goals both assisted by Crystal Vela in the win.

The two teams were scoreless in the first half.  Guymon found the back of the net first on a direct kick at the 22:26 mark.  Then Chacon tied the game with 7:09 to play and scored with 4:02 to go in overtime for the win.  LHS had 16 shots on goal and Liberal goalie Magali Vazquez had two saves. 

Liberal faces Wichita South at 4 p.m. Monday in the first round of the Wichita South Titan Classic.
