Saints Continue Struggles in Loss at Hutchinson

Seward plays Hutchinson in the Hutchinson Sports Arena.

The Seward County men's basketball team continued their recent struggles on Monday with a 62-48 loss in Hutchinson.

Seward led by nine early in the game, but the Dragons rallied to lead by four at halftime. Hutchinson outscored the Saints 23-9 on points off of turnovers. Latiq Agard led Seward in the loss with 18 points.

Hutchinson has now beaten the Saints five straight times at the Hutch Sports Areana. The Dragons now have a two game lead over Seward in the Jayhawk West with an 8-1 record. The Saints fall to 17-6 overall, and 6-3 in the conference.

The Saints will host Barton County on Wednesday at 8 p.m. The game will air on B107 FM and kscbnews.net.
