Success Story As A Result Of KSCB's Summer Promotion
01/29/2010

Success stories come in all shapes and sizes. Some come in the form of monetary or personal gain, while others come in life changing experiences. In the summer of 2008, KSCB and the Legend conducted a summer promotion where several hundred individuals had hoped to walk away with several thousand dollars in cash. While no one won the Grand Prize, one individual, Michael Maxwell, did walk away with a scholarship to Seward County Community College/Area Technical School. While Michael is a full-time employee with the State of Kansas, it would have been easy just to have set the scholarship aside, and continue in his daily routine. However he did not do that. According to Maxwells wife Shannon, Michael will be graduating Summa Cum Laude, and with work credit hours earned will shortly receive his Associates Degree. Shannon Maxwell called to thank KSCB and the Legend for the scholarship.
