Hugoton Takes Dual in Liberal
Shawn Lay Beau Fick and Lawson Fiss Ryan McClurg and Bradley Campbell

Liberal gave away 30 points due to five open weights and Hugoton won a dual at the Big House Monday night 43-36.  With so many open weights, it came down to a few key matches and Hugoton won them.  The marquee matchup came at 145 pounds where the #2 wrestler in 4A Patrick Weaver of Hugoton defeated the #6 wrestler in 5A Ayodale Braimah 14-4.  At 160, Hugoton's Lawson Fiss pinned his man.  At 195, Bradley Campbell won 3-0.  Hugoton's other wins came due to open weights. 

Liberal's winners were Greg McClurg who won by fall a 126, Corey Campos won by fall at 138, Edgar Sandoval won by fall at 170, Shawn Lay won by fall at 182, Jorge Nunez won by fall at 220, and Sergio Borjas won by fall at the heavyweight division. 

Liberal hosts Dodge City Thursday night with JV duals beginning at 6.
