Lady Saints Beat Barton by the Skin of their Teeth
02/04/2013

An open three from the left corner went down and around the rim and out and with that, a smile cracked Toby Wynn's face.  The Lady Saints won on the road 65-63 Saturday night at Barton (12-10, 2-7)  for the school's 11th ever win in the Kirkman Center.  The Lady Saints improve to 15-7 overall and 6-3 in the Jayhawk West which ties them with Garden City and Butler for third.

Seward trailed 30-29 at halftime but built a 58-49 lead in the second half.  Seward struggled late in the game at the foul line going 4-12 but held on for the win.

Ricquia Jones was outstanding for Seward with 16 points and four assists.  Madison McLain added 13 points and six rebounds.  Avery Burns scored 10 as she returned to the Seward lineup after missing two games due to injury.
