12/16/2009

A Guymon man was injured in a three car collision last week near Fort Supply, Okla.

Bruce Soukop, of Guymon along with two other vehicles, one from South Dakota and one from Wheeler, Texas were involved in the highway collision.

The collision occurred at 11 a.m. when Soukop was two miles southeast of Fort Supply on U.S. Hwy. 183 in Woodward County. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, his vehicle, a 1998 Ford F150 pickup was southeast bound when it went left of center and struck the left front of a 2007 Peterbuilt tractor and trailer. Soukop's pickup then rotated away from the impact and was struck by a 2005 Ford pickup.

The driver of the tractor and trailer was not injured and the driver of the 2005 Ford was treated and released. Soukop was transported to the Woodward Regional Hospital in Woodward, Okla. with injuries to his head, leg and arm. He was last listed in stable condition.
