Saints Second Half Shocks Coach
11/23/2009

Seward coach Bryan Zollinger wasn't happy. His team just defeated Redlands 90-87 after a Cougar three pointer missed Saturday night in the Green House. The Saints built a 55-40 halftime lead but saw Redlands (2-6) outscore the Saints 47-35 in the second half. The Saints hit 63 percent of their first half shots but just 38 percent of their second half shots. Zollinger says he's unimpressed. "I'm at a loss for words to be honest," Zollinger said. "I'm so disappointed in our second half effort, attitude, leadership from the sophomores, and selfishness. I'm beyond words." Donte McCarter saved the Saints bacon with 22 points and five assists. Marky Nolen added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Latiq Agard added 17 points. The Saints are 6-1 and play at Odessa Friday and against Texas Western Saturday in Odessa.
