03/12/2009

The Liberal Redskins season came to an end Thursday in Topeka as Andover Central defeated Liberal 62-57. The Skins trailed by four at halftime and by one several times in the second half, but were never able to jump in front and take the lead. Liberal shot just 34% from the floor and was 2/18 from the three point line. The Redskins were led by Jade Cathey who had 21 points and nine rebounds. Kevin Livingston added 16 points, while Eric Brown scored 11 points and brought down seven rebounds.
