Vandals Cause School Cancellation in Goodwell
09/03/2009

It's been a long week for school officials in Goodwell. The Guymon Daily Herald reports vandals broke into Goodwell Public Schools causing about 35-hundred dollars in damage. Late Monday night, someone broke into the school and sprayed fire extinguishers throughout the building. School officials were forced to cancel school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday due to the residue from the fire extinguisher. Goodwell Chief of Police Andy Ramirez says the school was broken into several times and several items were vandalized or destroyed. If anyone has any knowledge of the crime, call the Goodwell Police Department at (580)349-2566.
