LHS Tennis Places Second in Ulysses

Senior Tierra Stoney and Junior Valery Esqueda lead the Lady Skins to a 2nd
Place team finish at the Ulysses Invitational Tennis Tournament on Thursday.
Colby edged Liberal out with 22 team points to Liberal’s 19 followed by
Scott City and Ulysses.

Individual Results:

#1 Singles-Tierra Stoney won an impressive 27 games out of the 29 in which
she competed taking 1st Place Honors.

#2 Singles-Valery Esqueda went 3-0 finishing 1st Place

#1 Doubles-Rebecca Irby & Jadyn Williams lost a heart-breaking tie-breaker
with Colby and finished 0-3.

#2 Doubles-Reyna Quinones & Elizabeth Luebbers went 2-1 finishing 2nd Place.
They too lost a tie-breaker for 1st place.

The Lady Skins travel to Great Bend on Saturday.
