Informational Meeting with Ft. Hays State Tonight at SCCC

Joe Denoyer - July 31, 2017 8:23 am

Liberal and area residents interested in earning a bachelor’s degree in social work may have a new, local option through a partnership program being offered by Seward County Community College and Fort Hays State University.

Learn more at an interest/information meeting scheduled for 6 p.m., tonight — Monday, July 31 — in room 229C of the Student Union on campus.

Social work is one of the fastest-growing careers in the U.S., and the demand increases every year. A bachelor’s in social work from FHSU may be offered for people unable to commute or relocate to Hays. Classes would be held on the campus of SCCC, two evenings a week, for three hours each evening.
