Finney County Shoots Down Fireworks

Finney County officials shot down a
proposal this week that would have allowed for the sale of aerial
fireworks in the county. Commissioners say the combination of an
ongoing drought and nearby wildfire warnings mean using the
pyrotechnics could be dangerous.
